2017 EBC Associate Membership
The European Boxing Council (EBC) grants associate membership in accordance with the by-laws of the EBC for the following;
Promoter:
As a Promoter, being an EBC Associate member does not automatically entitle appointment to promote an EBC European Championship Contest.
However being an associate member of the European Boxing Council (EBC) is the first requirement, once received associate member status a promoter may then apply, for an EBC Championship Event License.
Manager:
As an associate member you will be recognised and granted the courtesy of the floor at annual conventions, and will be entitled to vote in accordance with the EBC by-laws.
Boxer:
As a Boxer, being a member does not automatically entitle appointment to Challenge for an EBC European Championship Contest.
To be considered by the EBC as a Boxer for EBC European Championship Contests, or eliminator bouts, it is a requirement that your licensing commission submits your details to the EBC Ranking Committee.
Trainer/Second:
As an associate member you will be recognised and granted the courtesy of the floor at annual conventions, and will be entitled to vote in accordance with the EBC by-laws.
Physician:
As an associate member you will be recognised and granted the courtesy of the floor at annual conventions, and will be entitled to vote in accordance with the EBC by-laws.
Referee/Judge:
As a referee or judge, being a member does not automatically entitle appointment to Referee or Judge an EBC European Championship Contest.
To be considered by the EBC as a Referee or Judge for EBC European Championship Contests, or eliminator bouts, it is a requirement that your licensing commission submits your details as a licensed ring official to the EBC Head Office, along with proof of experience as an A Class Referee or Judge.
Matchmaker:
As an associate member you will be recognised and granted the courtesy of the floor at annual conventions, and will be entitled to vote in accordance with the EBC by-laws.
Timekeeper:
As a Timekeeper, being a member does not automatically entitle appointment to timekeep an EBC European Championship Contest.
To be considered by the EBC as a Timekeeper for EBC European Championship Contests, or eliminator bouts, it is a requirement that your licensing commission submits your details as a licensed ring official to the EBC Head Office, along with proof of experience as a Timekeeper.
Master Of Ceremonies:
As an MC, being a member does not automatically entitle appointment to undertake MC duties at an EBC European Championship Contest.
To be considered by the EBC as an MC for EBC European Championship Contests, or eliminator bouts, it is a requirement that your licensing commission submits your details as a licensed MC to the EBC Head Office, along with proof of experience as a Master of Ceremonies.
TV Commentator:
As an associate member you will be recognised and granted the courtesy of the floor at annual conventions, and will be entitled to vote in accordance with the EBC by-laws.
Journalist:
As an associate member you will be recognised and granted the courtesy of the floor at annual conventions, and will be entitled to vote in accordance with the EBC by-laws.
Supporter:
As an associate member you will be recognised and granted the courtesy of the floor at annual conventions, and will be entitled to vote in accordance with the EBC by-laws.
Membership Fees are €50 for one year. Memberships run from April 1 through March 31.
Dues must be paid by May 31 for renewing members. If failure to renew is later than May 31, the Renewal Fee will be €100.
